Wende Peters is a member of the Principal Professional Staff at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, specializing in architectures and systems engineering for full spectrum cyber operations on behalf of the Department of Defense and the U.S. Government. She served as the Director of the National Information Assurance Engagement Center, and has provided research and strategy leadership in the area of Cyber Mission Assurance, emphasizing the analysis of cyber systems and cyber warfare and their correlation to warfighter mission objectives. Ms. Peters previously served as the US Navy’s Chief Engineer for the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System. She holds a bachelors degree in mathematics and a masters degree in applied computer systems.
